The Vivid cell of the Creative Absolute

The Absolute as the supreme, unconditioned, infinite, immutable and perfect prime origin, having its ground, cause and source of existence in itself, cannot be characterized by a series, even the extremely meaningfully loaded concepts.
It can be represented only with the help of a system of complementary bundles of essential attributes that are related to a balanced generating matrix.
These universal attributes of the Absolute constitute the initial pattern of the prime meanings. Their various combinations, represented as elements of the original matrix, serve as the basic principles of various oriental and Western religious and philosophical systems.
In this case, any holistic theory and original concept that confirms its understanding of the Absolute either denies it or implicitly contains it.
By itself, the Absolute is fundamentally indestructible, like a sunspot on the wall, as the centre of a circle that is always present, even if it is not indicated graphically.

The Transhumanist Manifesto, 1983

Published: 02 January 2023 | Written by Sergey Markov | Hits: 987

I am transhuman

In an aim to integrate creativity and reason

for the purpose of self-awareness and longevitiy

—promoted by persistence

aware of odds, informed by risk,

alert to new discovery, welcoming challenge,

ever-changing—

I become.

Natasha Vita-More

I am the architect of my existence. My life reflects my vision and represents my values. It conveys the very essence of my being—coalescing imagination and reason, challenging all limits.

Transhumanism calls upon a heightened sensibility to reveal the multiplicity of realms yet to be discovered, yet to be realized.

We are exploring how current and future technologies affect our senses, our cognition, and our lives.

The Cybernetic Manifesto

Valentin F. Turchin, Cliff Joslyn

1 Philosophy

Philosophy is the putting of our thought and language in order. Philosophy is important. Philosophy is a part of our knowledge.

2 Knowledge

Cybernetic epistemology defines knowledge as the existence in a cybernetic system of a model of some part of reality as it is perceived by the system. A model is a recursive generator of predictions about the world which allow the cybernetic system to make decisions about its actions. The notions of meaning and truth must be defined from this perspective. Knowledge is both objective and subjective because it results from the interaction of the subject (the cybernetic system) and the object (its environment). Knowledge about an object is always relative: it exists only as a part of a certain subject. We can study the relation between knowledge and reality (is the knowledge true or false, first of all); then the subject of knowledge becomes, in its turn, an object for another subject
of knowledge. But knowledge in any form (a proposition, a prediction, a law), irrespective of any subject is a logical absurdity. A detailed development of cybernetic epistemology on the basis of these definitions is critical for the formalization of the natural science and natural philosophy, and the interpretation of mathematical systems.

The Transhumanist Manifesto, 2020

The Transhumanist Manifesto

2020 version 4.  Natasha Vita-More, Professor Emeritus, Technology, Ethics, Innovation. (First version 1983) (Second versions 1998. Third version 2008). www.natashavita-more.com

Natasha Vita-More

The Transhumanist Manifesto challenges the issue of human aging and the finality of death by advocating three conditions. These conditions assert that aging is a disease; augmentation and enhancement to the human body and brain are essential for survival, and that human life is not restricted to any one form or environment.

Understanding these conditions are core to the philosophy and worldview of transhumanism[i] and advocate for the ethical use of technology and evidence-based science to intervene and effectively mitigate aging and to retreat from genetic liability by advancing genetic liberty. These actions must be reached with a mindful, rational approach. Aging is a disease. The aim is to mitigate aging and amend human lifespans beyond the maximum time frame as a biological state where disease affects everyone to varying degrees, ultimately programed for death. New technologies and advances in science, along with social reforms on aging, will build a positive outlook and practical conviction for the future.

Augmentation and enhancement to the human body and brain are essential for survival. Each person deserves the right of genetic liberty. People have a fundamental right to own their body, shape who they are, and live their lives. Morphological Freedom meets this condition by protecting a person’s right to augment and enhance and protects a person’s right never to be coerced to augment and enhance.

Human life is not restricted to any one form or by any one environment. Environments are the sole factor for the existence of life whether it be the biosphere on earth, digitality of cyberspace, artificial simulations of virtual reality, or the life support systems within outer space. To maintain existence, all environments require safe and healthy infrastructures that protect life and eliminate threats to life.

The Extropist Manifesto

The Extropist Manifesto

Breki Tomasson and Hank Hyena

A global movement that updates and expands upon “The Extropian Principles” written by Max More in 1998.

Extropism is an optimistic, futuristic philosophy that can be summed up in the following five phrases:

  • Endless eXtension
  • Transcending Restriction
  • Overcoming Property
  • Intelligence
  • Smart Machines

In more detail, the Extropist philosophy and world-view promotes:

Endless eXtension - Extropists seek perpetual growth and progress in all aspects of human endeavor. We are, as a species and as a culture, never finished or in any essential way complete. Instead, we continually pursue knowledge, we constantly experiment, we forever continue to develop techniques that improve our minds, our bodies, our culture and our environment. Extropists affirm this belief and take it to its logical conclusion.

We desire the technology and understanding that allows us to continually transform and augment the human body until we attain radically expanded lifespans, super-human wisdom & physical/neurological powers beyond anything we can imagine today. We intend to improve our culture & environment until we’ve instituted a fluid society that guarantees an euphoric existence to all those who desire it. We believe that there are sufficient resources available on Earth, in the solar system, and in the cosmos, to maintain endless growth and advancement.
